Hey, fellow Sui enthusiasts! I’m glad you found your way onto our new long form content on DoubleUp. Our goal with this form of content is to be transparent on the thought process and creation of the DoubleUp World and our design principles. We want to offer the opportunity for our users and fellow Sui users to critique our methodology and give constructive feedback to help build this world alongside us. Our team is very receptive to feedback, we are going to begin weekly updates that showcase our thinking, and the long-term vision we have to build the world’s best digital Degen experience. Now without further ado, let’s introduce the Raffles!

Our founders are watch enthusiasts that appreciate real world assets. And what is a better cross over between luxury and Degen's than a Rolex watch raffle? We decided to go with the classic Rolex GMT Batman, because we noticed that Adeniyi already has a Pepsi, and we need a reason for this man to “whale” into our raffle. Jokes aside, DoubleUp envisions a world where commerce is dreamable and accessible to all our community members. We price each raffle ticket at just $2 BUCK each, so anyone in the world can have a shot at luxury and top prizes! We are utilizing DRAND for this first raffle while native randomness is still in testnet, but we will be migrating over to Sui Native randomness.

Our vision starts with a luxury watch, and a vacation package in partnership with travelswap.xyz. In the future our hope is to give the Sui network community their first Lambo, and potentially even their first house! Let the games begin!
